According to the report of Russian business consulting website on July 11, the summary of the Russian heating flooring market in year 2018 and the outlook survey of 2021 by research company NeoAnalytics showed that the sales volume of electric heating floor products in Russia has increased in 2018. After a sales decline in 2014-2015, the market sales of electric heating floor returned to pre-crisis levels in 2018 mainly because the recovery of residents consumption and the growth of construction scale. NeoAnalytics estimated that the sales volume of the electric heating flooring market in Russia in 2018 was about 7.09 billion rubles, with a growth of 15.8% compared with that in 2017.

 

In the market structure of heating flooring in Russia, 80-83% are electrically heated floors and 17-20% are water-heated floors. And the domestic related products are a large proportion.
 

So far, the residential buildings in market sales structure accounting for a large proportion, particularly in multi-bedroom residential buildings which shared the proportion of 85% in the overall sales structure in 2018. 
 

In the long term, the growth of market will be affected by the lower cost of installing floor heating equipment due to increased competition among market participants. The Russian heating flooring market is expected to grow by 16-17% annually in 2019-2021.
